 Some gear we recomend Minimize

Camel

Bicycle:ÂSurly Long Haul Trucker frame.  26" mountain biking wheels, ahh man, i'll get back to you with the rest of the details.  Two XL Jand Expedition rear panniers and a handle bar bag.  and a 13 L dry bag i use for food storage and strap on top of the rack (Surly nice rack). 

Food:   It is surprisingly cheap to cook very nutritious meals in large quantities.  Whatismore, amongst the group we can carry loads of fresh fruits, vegetables, honey, grains, seeds, roots, spices, herbs and whatever other surprises await us at Farmers Markets.  Protein is primarily vegetarian (quinoa, nutritional yeast, rice, beans (red, garbanzo

  a lot of attention is put on consuming essential minerals, amino acids, .....    this manifests as seaweed, kale, collards, broccolli, cabbage, nettles and sand (if nico is cooking near a beach, desert or pretty much outside, sand will most certainly be a part of the meal).  Pancake parties are popular when long rides are needed.  We eat comunal meals mostly and are very energized by the food we eat.  it is truly a celebration.              TO BE CONTINUEDDDD

Water purification: Steripen   and (three water bottles and a 4 liter bladder)

Other:  Sleeping bag:  32 degree western mountaineering down bag.  I also have a foam pad for nights on the ground.     ÂShelter:  Clarks hammock tent and flyÂClothing:   2 pairs socks, 1 pairs underwear, tank top, rain shell, rain pants, colombian and mexican soccer jersey, t-shirt.ÂTools:  All purpose bike tool (ALIEN), bike pump, one spare tire, 2 spare tubes, patch kit, buck knife, chain, sewing kit, matches, head lamp, mosquito head net, goggles (swimming and very rainy riding days hahahaha)  pen and pencil, paintbrush,

Bike:  Old Field Cycles orginal.  Still hanging in there.  It's got some XT hubs with DT Swiss hoops.  BB7 breaks.  Pretty much downhill stuff.  It's all pretty much XT parts.  Got the Tuvativ FireX cranks with external cups (easy to fix).  Bar end shifters.  Cane Creek drop V break levers (nice for v-brakes or disk and drops)

I use Arkel panniers.  So Far so good.  XM-45's and a 20 liter dry bag for food on top.
