People who arn't a camel or a hippo Minimize

 Jessi!

his trip started in the minds of my friend Kat and i. it morphed from  moving to France or Germany or something to going to Guatemala on a bus to going on a bike tour. we just really needed to get away from our lives for while and try a different perspective.

along the way beautiful fate or coincidence or something allowed us to meet our "bike family" which continuously grows and changes.

now Kat has returned home (Victoria, BC, Canada) to attend herbology school and i plan to bike at least to Mexico.
i already feel that when i return i will have renewed enthusiasm and determination to make and let beautiful things happen. Thank you all the gorgeous people i've met so far!
Thank you Earth!

here are some of the most memorable smells and tastes on this trip so far:

-cold salty sea air
-Eucalyptus trees
-delicious air in the Arizona desert after it rained
-Jason's surprisingly not-bad-smelling hair
-illicit strawberry courtesy of Kat after a day of riding
-first prickly pears shared w the bike family on our second day together
-fresh goats' milk yoghourt from the farm in Arizona where Kat and i WWOOFed
-horchata!

Jackie Musick

After six long years of living in San Francisco, just getting by with random work (shoe salesman, thrift monkey, bike mechanic) in between band tours, i decided to leave the city for some much needed time alone, some space to clear out the cobwebs, maybe to find some focus. Can't say that i've had any huge epiphanies or revelations, but i have met some amazing people, seen some incredible places and traveled some of the most beautiful stretches of road as they should be traveled. i've had my first sweet taste and i don't want it to end. Each mile a new adventure. Each day a new life. Ride forever. Don't ever stop.
